Scentiment vs Hotel Collection: Terms and Refills Compared
AN INDEPENDENT COMPARISON
Same scent idea. Very different paperwork.
Both sell hotel-inspired fragrance for home diffusers, so they get shortlisted together. What separates them is not the scent — it is what you agree to when you buy. One publishes self-serve cancellation; the other publishes a financed bundle with a 36-month term. We sell competing oils, so weigh our view accordingly; both sets of terms below come from the companies' own published pages.
- Scentiment
- Cancel via portal
- Hotel Collection
- Up to 36 months
- Aroma Paradise
- No plan at all
THE SHORT ANSWER
What is the difference between Scentiment and Hotel Collection?
Commitment, more than scent. Scentiment's published subscription page describes self-serve control — change frequency, skip, swap or cancel through a customer portal. Hotel Collection publishes a subscription policy that is substantially the same document as Aroma360's, describing a bundled promotion that may be financed over up to 36 months and exited through a Wind-Down Process. Both sell hotel-inspired scents; the paperwork behind them is not comparable.
- Scentiment: self-serve cancellation via customer portal, no minimum term published.
- Hotel Collection: bundled promotion, financed up to 36 months, Wind-Down exit.
- 72% of Hotel Collection's published policy matches Aroma360's word for word.

The Free Diffuser with Oil Deliveries promotion is financed. After the initial 30-day window, financed customers are subject to a 36-month payment obligation under their financing arrangement.
To exit after the first 30 days but before the term completes, the customer pays an early termination balance equal to the MSRP of the diffuser and oils delivered to date, minus payments received to date. This can be settled as a lump sum or by continuing the original payment schedule.
A customer may cancel enrollment in the promotion within 30 calendar days of delivery. All delivered products, including the diffuser and any oils, must be returned in original, undamaged and resalable condition.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions people ask choosing between them.
Is Hotel Collection harder to leave than Scentiment?
Based on what each publishes: Scentiment's subscription page describes cancelling through a customer portal, while Hotel Collection's published policy describes a 30-day cancellation and return window on its bundled promotion and, after that, a Wind-Down Process requiring an early termination balance to be settled. Those are materially different mechanisms. The terms that bind you are the ones in the agreement you signed. Checked 5 August 2026.
Are Hotel Collection and Aroma360 the same company?
We make no claim about ownership and have not verified any corporate relationship. What both publish is a matter of record: on 5 August 2026, 72% of the sentences in Hotel Collection's subscription policy were word-for-word identical to Aroma360's, and Hotel Collection's own policy names Aroma360 directly.
Do their scents actually differ?
Both work in hotel-inspired territory and both name specific hotels as inspiration, so there is real overlap in what they smell like. Scent preference is personal and a perfectly good basis for choosing either — just make the choice knowing the commitment structures are not equivalent.
Can I use Aroma Paradise oils in a diffuser from either?
Often, yes, where the diffuser takes oil poured into a reservoir. Some devices use sealed pods instead, which ours will not refill. Check the compatibility page for your specific model before ordering.
Are you affiliated with either company?
No. Aroma Paradise is independent, with no affiliation with, endorsement from or association with Scentiment, Hotel Collection or Aroma360. We sell competing oils, which is exactly why this page reports what each company publishes rather than offering our verdict on them.
