Step 1Portion + add
Place the cool, unlit sand you want to scent in a clean, dry container with a tight lid. Use the fragrance-oil dropper to add a small amount.

Step 2Seal + shake
Close the container and shake until the oil is evenly distributed. Even coating gives a more consistent scent as the wax warms.

Step 3Pour + wick
Pour the scented pearls into a heat-safe vessel, then insert a fresh cotton wick. Keep the exposed wick and nearby sand free of pooled oil.
Before you light: Scent only completely cool, unlit sand. Start light, avoid oversaturating the pearls, and never add fragrance oil to a warm or burning candle.

Does the candle sand arrive scented?
No. The wax pearls arrive unscented, so you can leave them neutral or add only the fragrance oils you choose on this page.
Can I choose more than one fragrance?
Yes. Choose up to seven different 30ml fragrance oils. Use one at a time or create your own blend, with complete control over how much scent you add.
How much fragrance oil should I add?
Start with a small amount added to cool, unlit sand in a separate closed container. Seal and shake until evenly distributed, then test one burn before adding more. Avoid oversaturating the pearls or putting oil directly on the wick.
Are the optional oils suitable for this candle sand?
Yes. The selector uses Aroma Paradise’s dedicated Sand Candle 30ml Fragrance Oils rather than the full store oil catalog.
What exactly is a pearled sand candle?
It’s loose wax pearls you pour into any heat-safe vessel with an included wick. Once lit, the wax around the wick melts like a traditional candle. After it cools, remove the wax pool, smooth the pearls, and reset it.
Can I change fragrance between burns?
Yes. Scent a smaller portion for one burn, then reset with fresh unscented pearls or another fragrance. Keeping batches separate gives you the cleanest scent change.
What container can I use?
Use a stable, heat-safe vessel made from thick glass, ceramic, or metal. Keep the wick centered and the flame clear of the vessel edge.
How many candles does one pouch make?
A 12 oz pouch makes roughly three 4 oz candles and provides about 40–80 hours of total burn time. The size calculator above estimates yield for your vessel.
Can I keep it completely unscented?
Absolutely. Fragrance is optional, and no oil is selected by default. Choose only the candle sand if you want pure candlelight.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for unused products in their original packaging.
