Refund policy
At Aroma Paradise, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every customer to have a clear, fair return process. Because fragrance, oil, wellness, and home-scenting products are personal-use items, all returns are subject to the eligibility rules below.
By placing an order with Aroma Paradise, you agree to this Return & Refund Policy.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled only if the request is received before the order has entered fulfillment.
Once an order has been processed, packed, shipped, or marked fulfilled, it cannot be cancelled. If eligible, the order may instead be reviewed under our return policy after delivery.
All approved cancellations before fulfillment are subject to a $5 administrative processing fee per $100 increment of order value.
Subscription, special-order, custom, wholesale, bulk, promotional, and final-sale orders may not be cancelled once placed unless required by law.
Return Window
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify, the item must be:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In the same condition received
- Complete with all parts, accessories, manuals, inserts, bottles, caps, cords, and packaging
Returns requested after 30 days from delivery are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.
All returns must be approved before being shipped back. Items returned without approval may be refused, discarded, or returned to sender at the customer's expense.
Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
For safety, hygiene, and product integrity reasons, the following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Used, tested, sprayed, poured, diffused, leaked, altered, or partially consumed fragrance oils
- Used, tested, sprayed, poured, diffused, leaked, altered, or partially consumed waterless scent oils
- Used, tested, sprayed, poured, diffused, leaked, altered, or partially consumed essential oils
- Opened or used room sprays
- Opened or used roll-on perfumes
- Incense, smudge, or cleansing products
- Candles, sand candles, wax products, or burned/melted products
- Opened, used, tested, sprayed, burned, installed, leaked, altered, or partially consumed products
- Gift cards
- Mystery items, free gifts, samples, promotional items, and bundle gifts
- Clearance, sale, discontinued, or final-sale products
- Shipping fees, route/package protection, processing fees, rush fees, and other service fees
Scent preference is subjective. Used fragrance products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded because a customer does not like a scent, expected a different scent profile, ordered the wrong scent, or changed their mind after testing or using the product.
Fragrance Oil Exchanges and Store Credit
We understand that choosing fragrance online can be personal. If you ordered a fragrance oil and decide it is not the right fit, unused oils may be eligible for exchange or store credit within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify, the oil must be unused, untampered with, and returned in its original packaging. Once a fragrance oil has been tested, sprayed, poured, diffused, leaked, or otherwise used, it is final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for scent preference.
Approved fragrance oil returns for scent preference are eligible for exchange or store credit only. Cash refunds are not provided for scent preference, buyer's remorse, ordering the wrong scent, or a change of mind.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect. Exchange shipping and processing fees may apply.
If a scent was not what you expected, contact us and tell us what felt off, such as too sweet, too floral, too strong, too light, or not the scent profile you wanted. Our team can recommend a better match before you place your next order.
Diffuser Return Policy
Eligible diffusers may be returned within 30 days of delivery only if they are unused, clean, undamaged, and returned in original packaging with all original parts and accessories.
Used diffusers are not eligible for refund. A used diffuser may be approved for exchange only, at Aroma Paradise's discretion, if it qualifies under our inspection process.
A diffuser is considered used if it has had oil, fragrance, water, residue, scent, or any other substance placed inside it, or if it shows signs of installation, wear, residue, scratches, missing parts, damage, or attempted cleaning.
Approved diffuser returns are subject to inspection. A restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted from the refund for handling, testing, repackaging, missing packaging, or resale impairment.
Diffusers must be returned empty. Any bottle, oil, water, or liquid must be removed before shipment. Diffusers returned with liquid inside may be refused, voided from refund eligibility, or subject to additional deductions for cleaning, damage, leakage, or disposal.
Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to approval and product availability.
If an exchange is approved:
- The original item must meet all return eligibility requirements.
- The customer is responsible for any price difference.
- If the replacement item costs less, the difference may be issued as store credit.
- Exchange shipping and processing fees may apply.
- Unused fragrance oils may be eligible for exchange or store credit under the Fragrance Oil Exchanges and Store Credit section.
- Final-sale and non-returnable items are not eligible for exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect.
Protected Shipping covers eligible loss, theft, or damage during delivery. It does not provide free return shipping for scent preference, buyer's remorse, ordering the wrong item, or a change of mind.
Return labels should be purchased through our return portal when available.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If a return causes the final kept order value to fall below the free-shipping threshold, the original standard shipping cost of $9.99 may be deducted from the refund.
Customers are responsible for securely packing return shipments. Aroma Paradise is not responsible for returns that are lost, delayed, damaged, leaking, misdelivered, or returned without tracking while in transit back to us.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
Return Deadline After Approval
Once a return is approved and a return label or return instructions are issued, the item must be shipped within 7 days.
Returns shipped after that period may be refused or may no longer qualify for refund, exchange, or store credit.
Inspection and Refunds
All returned items are inspected before any refund is issued.
A refund may be reduced, refused, or converted to store credit if the item is:
- Used, opened, tested, sprayed, burned, installed, washed, altered, or damaged
- Missing original packaging, parts, accessories, bottles, caps, cords, inserts, or free gifts
- Returned with liquid, oil, residue, scent, or leakage
- Returned late
- Returned without approval
- Returned in a condition different from how it was received
- Not purchased directly from Aroma Paradise
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable fees, deductions, shipping charges, restocking fees, missing-item charges, or promotional adjustments.
Please allow up to 10 business days after we receive your return for inspection and processing. Once approved, refunds are typically submitted within 5-7 business days. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.
Damaged, Defective, Leaking, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
Claims for damaged, defective, leaking, missing, or incorrect items must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
To review the claim, we may require:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the item
- Clear photos of the packaging
- Photos or video showing the damage, leak, defect, wrong item, or missing item issue
- Any other information needed to verify the claim
Claims submitted after 3 days from delivery may be denied.
Do not discard the product, packaging, shipping box, inserts, or packing materials until the claim is resolved. We may require the item to be returned or inspected before issuing a replacement, refund, or store credit.
If the claim is approved, Aroma Paradise may choose the appropriate resolution, including replacement, repair, store credit, refund, or missing-item shipment.
Aroma Paradise is not liable for any Damage incurred by using an Aroma Paradise oil to a diffuser that has not been purchased from Aroma Paradise.
Delivered but Missing Packages
If tracking shows an order was delivered but the package is missing, the customer must contact us within 3 days of the delivery scan.
Aroma Paradise is not responsible for theft, incorrect addresses entered by the customer, inaccessible delivery locations, carrier delays, or packages marked delivered by the carrier unless package protection or another covered service applies.
Customers may be required to contact the carrier, file a carrier claim, provide a police report, or complete any required claim documentation.
Address Errors and Refused Packages
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, undeliverable, or old address provided by the customer are not eligible for refund unless returned to us by the carrier in resalable condition.
Refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages may be refunded only after they are returned to us and inspected. Original shipping, return shipping, carrier fees, processing fees, and any damage or missing-item costs may be deducted.
Promotions, Bundles, and Free Gifts
If a returned item was part of a promotion, bundle, discount, free-gift offer, or free-shipping offer, the refund may be adjusted to reflect the value of the promotion no longer earned.
If a free gift, bonus item, bundle component, or promotional item is not returned with the qualifying item, its retail value may be deducted from the refund.
Unauthorized Purchases
This policy applies only to items purchased directly from Aroma Paradise through our official website or approved sales channels.
Products purchased from third-party sellers, marketplaces, resellers, unauthorized retailers, or other websites are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, warranty review, or support under this policy.
Abuse and Excessive Returns
Aroma Paradise reserves the right to refuse, limit, or deny returns, refunds, exchanges, promotions, or future orders if we determine that a customer is abusing the policy, making excessive claims, returning used or altered products, engaging in fraud, or violating our terms.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies to that order.
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
